My newest series is about buildings and cars and consists of five pieces.

The idea/ inspiration for this series came to me while I was in Bristol UK earlier this year, when I suddenly stood before “The red building” it sparked the curls in my brain and ended up in five different pieces.

The feeling of abandonment from this once busy and full of life place captured my heart and mind, thinking that hopefully one day it will be full of life again, till then nature will slowly take over.

“No 10” is a house sitting in my previous hometown, Slangerup, I’ve aimed to portray a feeling of wondering whether it is abandoned or just neglected.

“The freezer house” is in our own backyard a remnant from past times before we all had refrigerators in our houses. Is it possible to live in such a building?

A trip years ago to the small Island of Ærø I met “The blue beach house”, being a beach house makes it standing empty most of the time, but is the center of many memories from time spend on the beach or in the house, for those lucky enough to have one.

In my early youth I used to dream about owning a Minor Mascot when I got old enough to drive, when the time came I felt it was way to small in comparison to the other cars on the roads, so I never fulfilled that dream.

I’ve always had a fascination for classic cars and feel they will create stories just by their appearances, so in my mind they bring even more telling to a story when paired with a building.
