In 2022 we moved to a new home in a tiny village way out on the countryside in south Zealand, life has a much slower pace here and the buildings are way older than we’ve been accustomed to. You can see the history of the village in the abandoned and derelict buildings, time has not been kind to them.

Now they seem to attract people like me who think of them as beautiful, but in an eerie kind of way. They remind us nothing lasts forever, something dies and some new appears, the circle of life. Like us, we’ve taken on a new chapter in life, leaving some things behind and looking at what’s in front of us.
