Looking back

Folkebasserne/ Volkescuties is my first art quilt and was made in 2014, I used a photo from the family album dating back to the early 70’es. 

I find There’s something special about old cars, so off we went to a classic car meeting and that’s where I spotted what became the quilt, Rusty Ford. That was in 2015 and it sold at its first exhibit.

Den gule Fiat/ The yellow Fiat is done from a mix of photos found online and adapted to my story telling, it sold before even being exhibited.

Vespa is my first art quilt done solely with my home dyed fabrics.

Den lyserøde Fiat/ The pink Fiat was also done with home dyed fabrics.

So far Ferieminder/ Holiday memories is the last in this series of cars, so far.
